About the painting. The sunsets out west can be dramatic and fun to create on canvas. I like to lay on the paint thick, impasto, when I can. A sunset is perfect for me to try.

This artwork is framed. I make my own floating frames. Made of pine or fir, hand sanded, double coated with matte polyurethane . The inside is then painted black. The gap between he canvas and parameter is .25 inches. The parameter thickness is .25 inches. Each frame is custom made for each canvas. It arrives with all the hanging hardware installed so it will be ready to hang as soon as it arrives.
